He claims that just because it is natural it does not make it better then legal pills. Sack develops this claim by first investigating the harbor side health center in Oakland. He also talks to many doctors. Sack interviews Dr. Joseph M. Pierre. About the disadvantages of cannabis and, how people will take advantage of the drug and he says it may lead to some cancers. Lastly the author claims that cannabis is making people sick from the mold that grows on it. David sack’s purpose is to inform people that cannabis is bad. In order to not make it medicine he urges people to make it illegal. This work is significant because it game facts about cannabis on how it can help cancer and aids patients. Even though it was down talking it I got some quotes by doctors saying how it was good.
