article 3 Liz Szabo claims that Addiction to prescription painkillers which kills thousands of Americans a year. szabo made this claim by talking to Debra Jones. szabo investagtes the number of deaths that pills cause and concludes that they can become addactive. Liz Szabo interviews Leonard Paulozzi and leonard paulozzi says that prescription drugs cause most of the more than 26,000 fatal overdoses each year. The information i got from this article helps me prove my point that cannabis is a better alternitive.

He claims that just because it is natural it does not make it better then legal pills. Sack develops this claim by first investigating the harbor side health center in Oakland. He also talks to many doctors. Sack interviews Dr. Joseph M. Pierre. About the disadvantages of cannabis and, how people will take advantage of the drug and he says it may lead to some cancers. Lastly the author claims that cannabis is making people sick from the mold that grows on it. David sack’s purpose is to inform people that cannabis is bad. In order to not make it medicine he urges people to make it illegal. This work is significant because it game facts about cannabis on how it can help cancer and aids patients. Even though it was down talking it I got some quotes by doctors saying how it was good.

Essential Questions

Would Cancer Patients feel less pain if they used medical Cannabis then pils? How is Medical Cannabis bad for people, is there a larger side of cons then pros? Should Medical Cannabis be leagal, does it have effective results for the patients? When did the strive for Medical Cannabis start? Why is Medical Cannabis not leagal in the U.S.A?

For decades now people have thought of marijuana as just a illegal drug that can only harm you  and will bring you no good. It is time people learn the truth about marijuana about how not all of its effects are bad and it can actual help people. California is the only state in the United States that permits people with dieses to smoke it. Look at the good outcomes it has on them there it gets rid of there pain and helps them. It does not only help them but also the people that grow it by giving them jobs. This medical marijuana also helps these people by not making them go out and buy it illegally. Unlike pills in which people can over douse on it is nearly impossible to over douse on marijuana. My question is why medical marijuana is not legal in other states.
